Publisher's Description:
TreeSize Free - Every hard disk is too small if you just wait long enough. TreeSize Free tells you where precious space has gone to. TreeSize Free can be started from the context menu of a folder or drive and shows you the size of this folder, including its subfolders. Each folder can be expanded in Explorer-like style to see the size of its subfolders. Scanning is done in a thread, so you can already see results while TreeSize is working. The space, which is wasted by the file system can be displayed and the results can be printed in a report. TreeSize supports Unicode file names and considers NTFS compression when calculating the allocated disk space.

- Scans are performed much faster.
- Unicode paths are now supported.
- NTFS compression is now considered in the allocated space.

 Treesize free hits the spot.
One of Windows missing features is that ist very inconvenient to work out where your disk space is being used up. With media files, your hard disk fills fast and active management of which files are kept on disk is vital.
Treesize Free presents the full picture in a clear interface with one-click drill-down to find just what is using up the space. I straight away found 20% of my disk space was taken up with unused indexes and unwanted files.

I Like this app
I like this app. If you want to scan network drives opt for Pro. Great product and really straight forward to use.
TSF can help find files you haven't used in a while and determine what types of files are taking up all your hard drive space.

I found Tree size to be my solution for a server space mystery at work. I knew just where to go to find where my space was being used on my home PC. Darn Kids!

want to know where your disk space went?
TreeSize Free 2.1 is very easy to use and helps to find out where all your diskspace went. However it takes a while (10 s up to a few minutes) to search the tree and therefore till the folder sizes are shown. The interface is very simple and looks a bit plain but for a freeware program it is very usefull. All in all I'm very happy I downloaded the program. It got the job I had for it done fast and intuive. I did not need to look in any manuals or help files.

Quick, easy, effective
I just wanted to reduce the used disk space on my system at home. The program is intuitive (did nor read any help) and clear, you will have a nice, structured overview of your occupied disc space in a gaphical form,alo shown in MB or GB or %, so you can go deeper in your folders and easily check and decide, what you may not use any more.
This was my first program I have tried and it was really amaizing:
After some minutes I could find and delete some 3GB files, which were not used and were hidden deep in the folder stucture!
I dont know what othe similar program do, but I dont miss anything in this.
It saves time and storage space.
